Snow Storm... Day 2

Technology has made the world so small and things like geography and weather less disruptive than ever. Yesterday, we were snowed out of the office but the business kept rolling in large part due to remote access and cell phones. We were all able to stay in contact with one another, account for everyone's safety and keep our scheduled calls with those out of towners who never knew the difference.

Today it's even more obvious the power of the web, cell, etc. With overnight freezing of all the snow and slush, driving is treacherous and power is out all over. However, we are able to keep tabs on each other via text and cell...at least until our batteries run dry. I'm thankful to know my friends and family are safe this morning and while they might go silent for a while, I'm confident that they are safe until the power comes back on and they light up my phone with texts of their adventures.

Stay safe everyone.
